Children have a certain expectation of what comes with a fast food meal. That bright colored box often contains a burger, fries, drink, dessert and toy. But as children of God, do we have any idea what comes with salvation? Here is what the Bible says we can expect.
New Life, Relationship & Destination
| Eternal Life - starts the moment we are saved | John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. |
| Relationship with God - now & forever | John 17:3 (TLB) And this is the way to have eternal life—by knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth! |

Baptized & Circumcised - Spiritually

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. |

New Creation & New Identity

The Godhead Comes to Live in Us

Participation in "The Marriage of The Lamb"

Receive Rewards & A New Name; Eat Some of the Hidden Manna
| Rewards at The Judgment Seat of Christ on The Day of Christ (Christ will judge the believer’s works done after salvation. It is not a condemnation or judgment of sin for the believer. That was taken care of at the cross.) | 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NLT) Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NIV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. |
| Receive a New name – descriptive of our new character and patterned after that of God Eat some of the hidden manna | Revelation 2:17 (AMP) He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God], to him I will give [the privilege of eating] some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone with a new name engraved on the stone which no one knows except the one who receives it. |
Choose to Live in Abundance with Faith
We can make use of everything that comes with salvation. All that we could ever need or want has been placed in our born again spirit. With faith and the authority given to us to use God’s power placed in us, we can claim what Jesus obtained for us. We live with an amount of belief and unbelief at the same time. We should not let unbelief keep us from God’s blessings. As we hear the Word of God, our unbelief will decrease.
Stand firm in God’s Word – speak it and command it to be so. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. This means our words have power. And we shall have what we say! John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. With faith, we can claim what already resides within us and live an abundant life. This abundant life begins here on earth and will continue throughout eternity.
