Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection accomplished everything for our salvation. Just before Jesus gave up His spirit, He said, “It is finished.” He accomplished everything some 2,000 years ago that was needed for our salvation. So don’t sit under a religion that obligates you to “do something” in order to be saved. Religion says, “Do.” Christianity says, “Done!”
Worship the Creator, not creation
We are NOT to worship or venerate (revere) anyone or anything. We ARE to worship our Creator God, NOT His creation (mankind, animals, birds, fish, earth, sun, moon, stars, etc.). None of God’s creation is holy. All are sinners in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Praying to Mary and the saints – The Bible condemns it!
The Bible strongly condemns praying to or speaking to the dead.
Leviticus 20:27 (NLV) ‘A man or woman who speaks with bad spirits or who talks to the dead must be put to death. They will be killed with stones. They will suffer for their own sin.’”
Mary, the mother of Jesus, sinned just as all of us have. Once we realize we are sinners, we see the need for a Savior. In the following verse, Mary acknowledges she is a sinner by knowing God is her Savior. Luke 1:46-47 (NKJV) And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. Jesus, the Son of God, is our Savior. Matthew 1:21 (NKJV) And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Praying biblically
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He taught them to address their prayers to God the Father. Because of this, we pray to the Father, in the name of the Son Jesus (our Mediator and Advocate), and with the help of the Holy Spirit.
We can come boldly to God the Father.
Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Jesus is our Mediator and Advocate with the Father.
1 John 2:1 (NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
The Holy Spirit helps us pray.
Romans 8:26 (NLV) In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us where we are weak. We do not know how to pray or what we should pray for, but the Holy Spirit prays to God for us with sounds that cannot be put into words.

No one takes the place of Christ
No person can be a “Vicar of Christ” and “stand in” for Christ.
No saint (living or deceased believer), priest, pope, or anyone can take Jesus’ place. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is our only High Priest and Mediator between God and man.
1 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV) For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
It is blasphemy for any person to claim to have the same power, authority and supremacy as Christ. No one on earth can forgive your sins in the stead or place of Jesus.
No one on earth, who guides you spiritually, is to be called father.
Matthew 23:9 (AMP) Do not call anyone on earth [who guides you spiritually] your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

The Holy Spirit comes in the stead of Christ
The Father has sent The Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) to live in believers. The Holy Spirit speaks the Truth from the Father regarding the Son.
John 14:16-18 (NIV) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
John 16:13 (AMP) But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future].

In the coming seven year Tribulation, the False Prophet will mimic The Holy Spirit. He will claim to have power, authority, and supremacy. He will lead people away from the one true triune living God. The False Prophet will also force people to worship the Antichrist. The Bible is God’s word and contains the true doctrine (belief) of Jesus Christ our Savior. Know the scriptures and discern The Truth. Beware of false doctrine!
Galatians 1:8 (NKJV) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
